Are dogs permitted in the park? What are the rules for pets in the park?
Yes! Dogs are welcome at Sundance White Ranch Park. Please control your Pets. All hikers are expected to keep pets under control at all times & leashed if necessary for the safety of all trail users and other pets. If a pet defecates on the trails please remove. If a pet defecates off trail, let nature take its course.
Can I ride a horse at the park?
Sorry but no.
What is the elevation?
Sundance elevation is 4,738 ft. and White Ranch Park trails can be in the upper 5,000 ft. range. Acclimation to hiking at higher elevations is essential. If you have a life-threatening condition, are unsure of your cardiac, ambulatory, or respiratory health or don’t know, ask your healthcare provider before hiking.
Are there public restrooms?
Restroom facilities are at the trailhead only. Ensure all members of your party use designated restrooms prior to beginning your hike. Human solid waste is considered a biowaste, as it is a vector for both viral and bacterial diseases. It can be a serious health hazard if it gets into sources of drinking water.
Are there hiking trails?
YES! We have several hiking trails. There are hiking options for most fitness levels. You can learn more about the trails and open spaces here.
Can I mountain bike?
Sundance White Ranch Park is a great place to mountain bike!
Can I hold an outdoor wedding?
No facilities are currently available for events. However if you would like to do a 'tie the knot' on the trail contact the park supervisor for permission.

Our hours of operation are 7 days a week dawn to dusk.
Can I camp at the park?
No. Camping is not permitted.
